This is a small mobile game I am working on right now.

I am about to publish it on Google play.

I would love to get some feedback!

The idea is fun and I really like the game's art.

There are a few small things that I think could be improved:

  • The music doesn’t really match what’s happening in the game. It feels like we’re in some kind of hell with fire and monsters, but the music is too calm and doesn’t fit the scene.
  • Upgrades are quite expensive. It takes many runs to get the first upgrade, and it feels a bit slow. I would make the early upgrades cheaper so the player can feel progression from the start, which would encourage them to keep playing more runs.
  • There are not many upgrades. I would add more, such as increasing warrior health, different types of warriors, increasing platform size, increasing the number of gems that spawn, etc. This would greatly improve the sense of progression.
  • From what I’ve noticed, the multipliers and the number of warriors you collect increase automatically with each run. I think it would be more fun if this were something the player could upgrade manually instead of it happening automatically. It would feel more rewarding.
  • The font used for the text is too simple, it looks like a default Arial font. I would suggest using one with more personality that fits the game’s aesthetic.
  • The game over screen is too simple, and the “Try Again” button doesn’t really look like a button. Maybe add a frame or something to make it clearer that it’s clickable. It would also be nice to see some stats at the end of each run, like “Warriors lost: 5, Damage to boss: 15, Gems collected: 5”.
  • The background is too simple. I would take advantage of the game’s theme and make it look more like a hell environment, with lava or something similar.
  • I sometimes have trouble judging depth in certain situations. This happens mostly with the axes. It’s not very clear whether I’ve already passed them or if I haven’t reached them yet, which makes them hard to dodge and a bit frustrating.

Overall, the idea is good. You’ve taken a classic mobile mechanic of increasing your army and given it a nice twist with platform control and permanent upgrades. I hope some of this feedback helps.  Good luck with the game!

Hey , this is awesome. You make some really good points.
